Tatra T27H Cargo Truck With Wood Gas Generator
The Tatra T27b was a 3 ton 4x2 truck produced in Czechoslovakia between 1930 and 1946. Significant numbers were used by both the Czech Army and the Germans during WWII.
The Tatra T27H was a wood gas ("holzgas") powered version of the standard T27b. Around 3-4kg of wood were equivalent to 1 litre of petrol although there was around a 20% reduction in power compared with the petrol variant.
