Ford COE TankerTruck m.1939
The Ford COE (cab over engine) truck was introduced in May 1938 in response to a greater requirement for larger vehicles, including tractor-trailers, while also restricting the length of vehicles under law and because of increasingly crowded streets. In early 1939 a COE Fuel Tanker was produced in the Netherlands. A number of these vehicles fell into German hands following the campaigns of 1940 in Western Europe.
