M1A2 SEP Abrams
The M1A2 Abrams is the standard battle tank of the US Forces and first entered service in 1978 as the M1. The M1A2 being introduced in 1992 as an M1 with system enhancements. The M1A2's main armament is the 120mm M256 smoothbore gun with a 7.62mm M240 machine gun mounted coaxially on its right.
The M1A2 SEP (System Enhancement Package) features modifications including a new gunner's thermal sight and upgraded 3rd generation depleted uranium armour components.
