The BGM-109G Gryphon was a ground launched cruise missile developed by the US to counter the mobile nuclear missiles deployed by the Soviet Union in the Eastern Bloc countries.
The BGM-109G is transported using the M983 HEMTT tractor in the US. It is a 10ton 8x8 Heavily Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck designed by Oshkosh Corporation.
