Japanese Isuzu TX-40 Fuel Truck

The Isuzu TX-40 was supplied in large numbers to the Japanese armed forces and was based on the Type 97 specification. The basic Type 97's design drew heavily on the design of some pre-WWII US trucks having been licensed to the Japanese automotive industry. As the war progressed, non essential detail was omitted from production such as mudguards, radiator grille and one headlight as a result of material shortages.
