Krupp Protze Kfz70 & 3.7cm Pak36
Developed from 1930 onwards and supplied to the German armed forces from 1933, the Krupp Protze (or Gun Carriage) was a light 6x4 1.5tonne cross country truck. The vehicle was popular with the troops given its good driving characteristics.
By the start of the war, 11,200 Pak36s were in German service, small, so easily moved and camouflaged, the Pak36 suffered from being too small and even in the early campaigns its record was poor. However the Pak36 remained in service throughout WWII.
