GAZ-64 Russian Light Utility Truck

The GAZ-64 was a 4x4 vehicle designed in 1940 by GAZ in co-operation with Ford. The GAZ-64 chassis was also used to produced the BA-64 armoured car, based loosely on the German Sd kfz 221. Given the availability of Lend-Lease jeeps, most GAZ-64 production was devoted to the BA-64 armoured car. As a result, only 2,500 GAZ-64 were produced during WWII although production continued until 1953 by which time 90,000 had been built.
