WR360 C12 Locomotive

The WR360 C12 was based on the prototype HR360 C12 and was used by all services of the German military, Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine. The WR360 C12 was a three axle design with an axle load of 12 tons. The Army used it to shunt railguns into place so they were typically attached to artillery units. Given the size of the railguns, often two WR360 C12 were used to reduce the risk of mechanical failure. Between 1926 and 1942 there were 129 WR360 C12 produced.
