M8 Greyhound Armoured Car

The M8 Greyhound was a 6x6 armoured car produced by Ford during WWII. It was designed to replace the M8 37mm Gun Motor Carriage. The M8 entered service in 1943 serving mainly in a reconnaissance role and first served in Sicily. While it was fast and reasonably well armed with a 37mm M6 gun, the M8 was thinly armoured. Kit is a 20mm Zone rapid build with 6 parts and comprises plastic resin hull including wheels and white metal parts. Includes machine guns and 2 crew.
