Pz Kpfw II Ausf F (In US Service)

The second of the Panzers, the Pz Kpfw II was designed in the early 1930s. Like the Panzer I it was deliberately made simply and inexpensively as a training vehicle. However, it saw extensive service at the outbreak of WW2 during the Blitzkrieg and North Africa. The Ausf F was produced from March 1941 to December 1942 and was the last Pz Kpfw II. This kit depicts a Pz Kpfw II captured by American forces and pressed into service as a training vehicle with the North African Branch Armoured Forces
