A detailed kit of the M18 Hellcat Gun Motor Carriage used by the US in both Italian, North West European and Pacific theatres during WWII. The M18 was the fastest armoured vehicle until the M1 Abrams was introduced. This was achieved by keeping it light and powering the small chassis with an aircraft engine. It was armed with the same 76mm as the Sherman in an open topped turret with 45 rounds and a five man crew. The M18 had a M2 Browning machine gun for AA and infantry defence.
