GAZ-M20 "Pobeda" Cabriolet

The GAZ-M20 was developed during WWII around 1943. At the time, victory for the Soviet Union seemed likely so the car was named "Pobeda" (Victory). Despite the factory being bombarded, production of the vehicle was unaffected and the first prototype appeared on 6th November 1944. Following approval, the first production model rolled off the assembly lines on 21st June 1946. The Pobeda remained in production until 1958. It was also exported and licensed to Poland where it was built until 1951.
