Pz Kpfw VII "Löwe"

The Pz Kpfw VII "Löwe" (Lion) was designed by Krupp as a super heavy tank for the German army during WWII. Its code name was VK 7001 (K) but the design never got any further than the drawing board. The design was dropped in March 1942 in favour of the Maus. There were two designs, a Leichter Löwe weighing 76tons with a rear mounted turret and a 105mm L/70 high velocity gun and the Schwerer Löwe (this kit) weighing in at 90tons with a centre mounted turret and a 105mm L/70 gun.
