Opel 3.6-47 Omnibus W39 Ludewig Late

A stunning example of the German Opel Blitz Omnibus W39 used in both military and civilian roles during WWII. The Opel Blitz 3.6-47 was produced between 1939 and 1943 at the Ludewig plant in Essen. From 1941 a number were built with the spare wheel mounted in a niche on the left side of the body. Nearly 3,000 were built and were used for staff transport, command vehicles, telephone exchanges, radio vehicles and ambulances
