The Chevrolet C8A was a Canadian Military Pattern Truck (CMP) produced from 1942 by General Motors of Canada. The C8A was available as a personnel carrier (Heavy Utility Personnel - HUP), Wireless (HUW) and ambulance (HUA). Early models had run flat tyres and an extra door instead of a spare tyre. Production stopped in 1945 after 13,000 had been produced.
