M10A1 GMC (Late Version)

A nice little kit of the M10A1 Gun Motor Carriage used by the GIs in the Pacific and North West Europe during WWII. The British used some of these too in Normandy although they also converted some to carry the British 17 Pounder calling the vehicle the Achilles. They were used to augment the traditional towed anti tank guns giving greater mobility. As WWII progressed M10s were also used to provide indirect fire support for infantry. The M10A1 was a gasoline powered M10 based on the M4A3 chassis.
