Zil-157 Command Truck

The Zil-157 was a general purpose 2.5ton 6x6 truck, and the first post WWII truck produced in Russia. Production ran from 1958 and 1982 with a number of different variants being produced. . The Zil-157 was the standard Soviet army truck until replaced by the Ural-375D in 1979. The Zil-157 was capable of carrying 3,000kg off road or 7,500kg on roads or 12-16 soldiers. Many Zil-157 variants were BBV ('Box Body Variants') such as this Command Vehicle.
