T-80 Light Tank with VT-43 Gun

By late 1943, the Russians produced another light tank, designated the T-80 (Not to be confused with it's namesake 40 years later). It was almost identical to the earlier T-70M but carried a heavier turret and thicker armour up to 50 mm. A commanders cupola was added, and an internal mantlet was employed to improve fighting efficiency allowing the 45mm VT-43 gun to elevate to 78 degrees which was a significant improvement in street fighting.
