KV-1 (Model 1942) Cast/Welded Turret (x2)

Named after a marshall of the Soviet Union - Klementy Voroshilov - the KV heavy tank was the third in a trio of designs in 1938 for a replacement for the T-35. The main features of the tank were a centrally mounted turret containing a 76.2mm gun and two MG, a driver's compartment at the front with a hull MG position to the left of the driver and a rear mounted diesel engine. The KV-1 Model 1942 was a later variant with thicker armour, a cast turret, an betterengine and a 76.2mm ZIS-5 gun.
