The Flammpanzer 38(t) was produced from December 1944 with 20 vehicles produced. The standard 75mm gun was replaced by a Flammenwerfer 41 which had an effective range of 60m and a flaming capacity of 700 litres of fuel. Flammpanzer 38(t) served during the Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes.
