BS-3 100mm Anti Tank Gun

The BS-3 100mm M1944 was a Russian anti tank gun and field gun which entered service in 1944 and remianed in service until the 1950s. The BS-3 was based on the naval B-3 gun and was employed by light artillery brigades of tank armies with 20 BS-3 and 48 ZIS-3 as well as by corps artillery. During WWII it was also employed successfully in an anti tank role being capable to taking on most armour at long range. The BS-3 was lighter and more mobile than the 122mm A-19 but less powerful.
