The LAV-25 is an all-terrain, all-weather vehicle with night capabilities. Its primary function is reconnaissance and battlefield surveillance. It is air transportable and fully amphibious with a maximum of 3 minutes preparation. The LAV-AT is the anti tank version of the LAV-25 and is fitted with an Emerson 901A1 TOW2 Anti Tank Guided Missile launcher. It is also armed with a pintle mounted M240E1 machine gun. It carries 16 TOW missiles and 1,000 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition.
