F-86F Sabre

The F-86 was developed in the late 1940s and was an adaptable front line fighter. Over 7,800 F-86 were produced between 1949 and 1956 where it served as the primary air-to-air jet fighter used in the Korean war against the Soviet built MiG-15. The F-86F had a larger engine, a larger 6-3 wing and was armed with six 0.5 inch AN/M3 Browning machine guns capable of 1,200 rounds per minute of armour piercing and armour piercing incendiary rounds.
