KBT-7 Experimental Light Command Tank

The BT tanks were lightly armoured but produced in large numbers to provide support for the infantry - over 5,000 BT-7 were produced. Weighing in at only 13.9 tons the BT-7 was a fast tank with a max speed of 53kph. The KBT-7 Experimental Command Tank was developed in 1937. It was armed with 2-3 DT machine guns in the P-40 turret and an anti-aircraft DT machine gun for air defence. The KBT-7 version never entered production.
