The M992 is an armoured ammunition support vehcile based on the chassis of the M109 series howitzer. It is designed with a higher superstructure and is capable of storing 95 155mm rounds in support of the M109. It is fitted with an M2 Browning for defence and a Mk 19 grenade launcher.
