QF 3" 20cwt Anti Aircraft Gun

At the start of WWI Britain had no anti aircraft guns. The QF 3" 20cwt was based on a naval 3" gun which were initially crewed by Navy personnel. By 1916, 202 were in service defending Britain's air space. Between the wars, the QF 3" 20cwt was mounted on a 4 wheel trailer platform replacing older obsolete lorry mounts. There were 500 in service at the start of WWII. Up to 120 saw service with the BEF. Kit comprises white metal parts.
