The French 13.2mm Hotchkiss M1929 heavy machine gun was built under licence by the Japanese. Hotchkiss proposed the weapon as an infantry weapon that could be fitted to a tripod but the French rejected the weapon in this role. It was adopted as a naval gun and by the French cavalry for some armoured vehicles. Kit comprises white metal parts. A gunner is also included.
