BDT-41 Heavy Armoured Railcar

The BDT-41 Heavy Armoured Railcar was developed in 1941 and based on the earlier BDT Armoured Railcar. It was designed to engage with tanks and other armoured railcars as well as being used for reconaissance and protecting railway communications. Crewed by 9-11 men, it was armed with a 76mm gun and a coaxial 7.62mm DT machine gun in a T-34 turret. In addition there were three further on board Maxim machine guns. The kit includes a section of railroad track for display purposes.
