The SU-18 was based on the T-18 chassis replacing the turret with a pyramid type structure mounting the 76.2mm regimental gun model 1927. With a crew of 2, it could only carry 4-6 rounds of ammunition and no secondary armament. The design was ultimately abandonded in favour of larger and better designs capable of carrying more rounds.
