Upgunned initially with the 5.0cm KwK 38 L/42 (Ausf J) and later with the longer barrel 5.0cm KwK/39 L/60 gun (Ausf J/1) the Ausf J was effective against Valentine and Grant tanks but still no match for the Russian KV-1 or T-34. By 1942, the Ausf J was fitted with 20mm spaced armour plating onto the gun mantlet and the hull front superstructure to provided added protection against AP shot. Kit is a 20mm Zone rapid build with 7 parts and comprises resin hull with white metal parts.
