Junkers Ju-87G-1 Stuka 'Tank Buster'

The Junkers Ju-87 Stuka was a German Ground attack aircraft of WWII. Entering service in 1936 during the Spanish Civil War the Stuka made its name during the Blitzkrieg campains of 1939 and 1940. With its distinctive gull wing design, fixed undercarriage and fearsome wailing siren, the Stuka gave close support to the advancing Panzer Divisions. The G-1 was one of the last variants armed with two 37mm cannons mounted in under wing gondolas each loaded with a 6 round magazine of AP tungsten ammo.
