Albion CX22S Heavy Artillery Tractor

The Albion Motor Company, based in Glasgow, produced 6,000 trucks for the British Army in WWI and the 30s. By 1943, they produced the Albion CX22S to supplement the Scammel R100 Pioneer of which there were never enough available. The CX22S was based on the civilian CX23N 10 ton truck and employed to tow both 6" and 7.2" howitzers. The CX22S remained in production until 1945 at which time 532 had been produced.
