Sd Kfz 265 Panzerbefehlswagen

The Pz Kpfw I Command Tank, known as the Sd Kfz 265 Panzerbefehlswagen, was the first purpose designed command tank used by the Germans and based on the Pz Kpfw I Ausf B chassis. The Ausf B itself was a turretless version of the Pz Kpfw I used for training crews so was well suited to be converted into a command vehicle. The rotating turret was replaced by a boxed superstructure giving more space inside for the FuG6 radio in addition to the standard FuG2 radio and equipment. Fast Build
