Armoured Train Platform with Field Gun and GAZ-AA

Early in WWII, Russian armoured trains fell victim to air attack from the Luftwaffe and ground attack from Panzers. To cover the withdrawal of Russian troops improvised armoured train platforms were introduced with a 45mm Anti Tank Gun Model 1932 and a GAZ-AA with quad anti aircraft guns. There is little recorded of their activities or success in combat but it is typical of the stop gap approach adopted by the retreating Red Army. The kit includes a section of railroad track for display.
