The Mastiff PPV is the British version of the Cougar 6x6. Designed by Force Protection Inc, these vehicles are protected against small arms, land mines and IEDs by using a combination of materials and design features to protect the crew. The vehicle has a V shaped hull to direct blast away from underneath. In addition to this, the British version has additional all round slat armour and passive protection added to the hull.
