The Universal Carrier was widely used by British and Commonwealth forces during WW2 from the BEF in France in 1940 through the North African Campaign and throughout North Western Europe after D-Day. Commonly used for carrying personnel, equipment and ammunition. Over 113,000 were built making it the most produced armoured fighting vehicle in history. The Mk I was the original Universal Carrier.
