Dogfight Doubles : ME262A & De Havilland Mosquito

The Mosquito was a British twin engine multi role aircraft. With the bulk of the aircraft constructed from laminated plywood , the Mosquito was also known as the Wooden Wonder. The Messerschmitt Me262 was the world's first operational jet fighter aircraft and was deployed in a fighter, fighter bomber, interceptor and reconnaissance roles. On 25th July 1944 an Me 262 damaged a Mosquito reconnaissance aircraft in what was the first ever victory for a turbojet fighter.
