Bismark / Tirpitz

The German Battleship Bismark is perhaps the most famous of ships from WWII. During the Battle of the Denmark Strait, the Bismark and Prinz Eugen sank HMS Hood. Following it's pursuit by the Royal Navy, Bismark was sunk on th 27th May 1941 with the loss of 1,995 from a crew of 2,200. The Tirpitz was the second Bismark class Battleship which never fired against an enemy ship. It spent most of WWII anchored in various bases in Normay and was sunk by the RAF on 12 November 1944.
