The ADGZ M-35 was developed aas a heavy armoured car for the Austrian army, designated Mittleren Panzerwagen M-35 and was produced between 1935 and 1937. The Austrian's used the AGDZ for both police and army duties. The Germans also used them as police vehicles but 25 vehicles were also used by the SS on the Eastern front and in the Balkans. A few vehicles were also converted to Funkwagens, radio vehicles.
