The dreaded 88 was feared by all allied troops especially the tankers and was possibly the finest gun that served in WWII. Initially produced as an anti aircraft gun, the 88 was used in North Africa and later as a very effective anti tank gun. The Sd Kfz 7 tractor was a common heavy duty tractor for towing large guns such as the 88mm and larger 150mm artillery pieces.
